EBR Database Online
Our EBR Database Online data product has been discontinued.
Recent developments in access and delivery of data have been mindboggling. Several years ago, the platform for delivery was a paper-based booklet, formatted for 8-1/2 by 11 inch pagesprinted by a local printer and mailed via U.S. Postal Service twice each year. The product was named Arizona's Economic Indicators: a Data Book. About three years ago, we developed an electronic version of this report, EBR Database Online, which greatly expanded the amount of history and number of measures presented. Still formatted for printing, this information has been updated monthly.
Today, with developments in cloud computing and new technologies, we are able to present data as soon as it is released by the reporting agency. When a user clicks on a link, data is instantly retrieved from the cloud and displayed on your screen, either in tabular or graphical formats. You can see how this works by visiting the Current Indicators section. Included are the most-requested measures and we will be adding significantly to this collection, including county measures, in the coming months. We are delighted to offer these indicators to our readers free of charge going forward.
For those desiring additional measures, including forecasts, we invite you to join the Forecasting Project. As a member, you will gain access to our extensive databases and forecasts for Arizona and the Tucson and Phoenix metro areas. Read more about EBR's Forecasting Project.
