To achieve these goals and make its research readily available to the public, EBR maintains this website and produces a number of award-winning publications.

EBR has been a member of the Association for University Business and Economic Research (AUBER) since the early 1950s and has received the Association's recognition for excellence in publications for the Arizona's Economy quarterly newsletter (distributed online and in print to more than 8,000 subscribers), the annual Economic Outlook report, and twice for the Arizona Statistical Abstract. Also, in 2001, this website received AUBER's recognition for best website.

In the 1970's, EBR began econometric forecasting and model development for Arizona and the major metro areas. The Forecasting Project, EBR's economic forecasting unit, has continued to refine and develop these models to reflect structural changes in the economy. Over the years, EBR has established an outstanding reputation in the Western United States for accurate, consistent and objective economic forecasts.

In 2003, EBR launched a project to survey Arizona business leaders to ascertain their expectations for the immediate future. The Arizona Business Leaders Confidence Index (BLCI) is produced in partnership with Compass Bank.

EBR also maintains a library focusing on economic and demographic information for Arizona and its counties. As an Arizona State Data Center (SDC) Coordinating Agency, EBR provides public access to detailed data sets from the Census Bureau and the Bureau of Economic Analysis on CD-ROM.
