Greenlee County is located in eastern Arizona. The county has a total land area of 1844 square miles, making it the fourteenth largest county in Arizona. Greenlee County is home to extensive mining activity, primarily focused on copper production. As of the 2010 census, Clifton is the largest town, with a population of 3,311.
